PIZZA STUFFED CHICKEN | ITALIAN CHICKEN RECIPE: Here’s another super easy recipe that will look and taste like you spent all day in the kitchen.
RECIPE:
8-12 CHICKEN TENDERS
2C SPINACH
2C SHREDDED ITALIAN CHEESE
40+ PEPPERONI SLICES (allow at least 5 per tender)
2C MARINARA OR PIZZA SAUCE
Preheat oven to 350F
Lay a sheet of wax paper on the counter.
Place tenders on wax paper.
Place another sheet of wax paper on top of tenders.
Pound tenders to 1/4″ thickness with a tenderizer mallet
Season tenders with salt and pepper
Top each tender with 1C cheese, spinach, and 5 pepperoni slices
Roll each tender and place in a greased casserole dish with seam side down.
Top with 2C sauce, the remaining cheese, and season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
Place 1 pepperoni slice on top of each tender.
Bake 350F for 30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165F
