To me, a good pesto pizza should have bold pesto flavor. I don’t want it to taste faintly of basil, garlic, Parmesan and olive oil—I want those flavors to bowl me over. The key is to spread a generous layer of pesto over the pizzas before baking. Not only do these pizzas taste very “pesto-y,” they also look gorgeous and feel a little more special than your typical pizza pie. A great alternative to your regular pizza.

For Pesto
Basil leaves – a small bunch
Walnuts – 3
Cashewnuts – 8
Grated cheese – 1/2 cup
Olive oil – 1/2 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Freshly minced garlic – 1 tsp

For pizza
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
Sliced onions – 2
Chicken cubes – 100 gms
Red bellpepper – 1/2
Yellow bellpepper – 1/2
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Italian seasoning – 2 tsps
