Pizza Dough Recipe (for 2 pizzas)
Ingredients
450gr all purpose or bread flour
300gr warm water
1tsp dry yeast
1tbsp oil + 4tbsp oil for proofing
1/2 tsp salt
Direction
▪︎ place the yeast in the water, stir to dissolve, add the salt and stir
▪︎ take a bowl, put the flour inside, make a well in the centre and slowly pour the water, use a fork to help you incorporate the flour
▪︎ once the flour is all incorporated add 1 tbsp of olive oil and work the dough either in the bowl or on the countertop
▪︎ knead the dough for about 5 minutes, let it rest for 5 minutes and finish knead for other 5 minutes till nice and smooth then divide it in 2 parts and roll into 2 equal balls
▪︎ pour some oil inside 2 bowls or containers, then place the doughs into the bowls, be sure to well coat with the oil, close the containers or wrap the bowl with cling film.
▪︎ COOK ON THE DAY: if you wish to make your pizza on the same day leave the dough to proof in a bowl covered with cling film, in a warm place for 2 hours.
▪︎ COOK LATER: store the dough in an airtight container and refrigerate. It can be kept up to 3 days.
