On today’s episode of Ingrid Dishes, Ingrid Nilsen (aka Missglamorazzi) shares her recipe for her all time favorite pasta dish! This tagliatelle recipe contains a delicious blend of asparagus, cherry tomatoes, garlic, cream, parmesan cheese and pancetta. Follow the recipe and give this dish a try! RECIPE: INGRID’S FAVORITE PASTA DISH – TAGLIATELLE
INGREDIENTS:
8oz. tagliatelle pasta
4 oz. pancetta, cut into small bits
2 handfuls fresh cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
1 bundle asparagus
Olive oil
4-6 garlic cloves, minced
Splash of cream
Handful of grated parmesan cheese
RECIPE:
1. On the stove, begin heating water for pasta.
2. Cut off woody ends of asparagus and toss.
3. Cut off tips of asparagus and set aside. Finely chop the remaining asparagus stalks.
4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
5. Add in garlic, finely chopped asparagus and pancetta.
6. Begin cooking pasta in boiling water.
7. When the pancetta is almost done, add in tomato halves and cook until tomatoes are tender, but not mushy.
8. Add in asparagus tips to the boiling pasta water during the last couple minutes of cook time.
9. Drain pasta mixed with asparagus tips.
10. Combine pasta with pancetta mixture, stir in a splash of cream and a handful of parmesan cheese.
