Italian dishes – learn how to cook: Italian sweet cooked apples
Ingredients:
– Apples
-Refined sugar
-Cinnamon powder
-Marmalade
-Lemon
How to cook:
This is a very simple and fast recipe, try it is a way to get a delicious dessert that respect your diet.
Now, this recipe gives different results depending on the apples used.
We advise you to try it out different types of apples so you can find your favorite, just remember to choose the biggest apple you can find.
Start by washing your apples, then proceed to extract the apple core, if you don’t have a proper knife don’t worry, any knife would do the work, it will only take you more time.
*Be careful when you take out the core to not go through the whole apple so that we can fill the apples with ease
Place the apples in a glass baking tray and proceed to add the following in order:
-1 coffee spoon of sugar
-1 coffee spoon of cinnamon powder
– Again 1 coffee spoon of sugar
– 1 coffee spoon of marmalade
Top everything out with some lemon peel well grated to give a nice flavor and perfume.
Add water to the side of the apples this will make sure we both have nice humidity in the oven and also will create a nice juice with all the ingredients we recently added to the apples.
It’s finally time to bake the apples at 145 degrees celsius for around 45-60 min. This time depends largely on the oven you use so make sure to take a look at the apples to see when they are ready. Look for loose peel and soft pulp, also the color should get a bit darker.
