This easy and quick white sauce pasta recipe is perfect if you want to use it in pasta or you can also use it with red creamy pasta sauce to give pasta a unique taste. You can also use white sauce in many other Italian recipes. It’s a very simple recipe to make white pasta sauce which you can use to make white sauce pasta or any Italian recipe. So, do try it at home and enjoy.

Ingredients:

1 cup Milk
¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour (aka Maida)
1 ½ tbsp Butter (or Makhan)
½ tsp Dry Basil
Salt (according to taste)

Instructions:

1. First put a pan on medium heat and then add 1 ½ tbsp butter. Now let it melt completely and when it has melted put heat to low and add 1 tbsp all purpose flour. Now mix it well with butter and cook for around 1 min while continuously stirring to make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.

2. After around 1 ½ min, add 1 cup milk and whisk it continuously so that there are no visible lumps in mixture.

3. When all purpose flour is mixed well with milk, add ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, ½ tsp basil or you can use any other Italian herb.

4. Now put heat to low-medium and cook it till it becomes thick. Just make sure to keep whisking it after every 30s otherwise it can stick to the bottom of pan.

5. After cooking for around 4-5 mins you can see the pasta sauce has become and this is the consistency we want.

6. Pasta sauce is ready now so switch of the gas and take it out in a bowl.
