Happy Palm Sunday everyone! Hope all is safe and well. Since Easter is just round the corner, I want to share a family tradition of mine. We make these cookies every year for all to enjoy Easter morning. They are fun to make and delicious to eat. Down below are the list of ingredients you will need. Happy baking!!💕
Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of butter (1 stick)
3 teaspoons of baking soda
3 cups of flour
3 teaspoons of vanilla
3 eggs
Decorating part:
Powder sugar
Water
Nonpareils
Process:
1. Lay down your flour then make a hole in the middle. Then add the sugar and baking soda.
2. Next, add the eggs, butter, and vanilla. Once all ingredients have been poured, combine them all with your hands.
3. Cut 1 to 1.5 in. thick pieces for each cookie. Once you make your cookies, place them in the oven at 365 degrees for 20 minutes.
4. When the cookies are cool, it’s time to make the glaze. Combine powder sugar and water to your preferred consistency.
5. Brush the glaze onto the cookie with an oven brush. Add your nonpareils before the glaze dies.
