CARBONARA RECIPE:
– Parmesan Cheese
– Spaghetti
– Eggs
– Pancetta or Guanciale
– Pepper
1. Put water in a pot and turn on the stove to let it boil.
2. While the water is boiling, add oil to a frying pan and heat it.
3. Once the oil is hot, add the pancetta or guanciale, stirring occasionally to allow it to cook.
4. In the meantime, measure the spaghetti and pour it into the boiling water and let it cook until it is al dente.
5. Once the pancetta or guanciale is as crispy as desired, turn off the stove.
6. To make the ‘sauce,’ crack an egg (or as many as you need for the portion of pasta) and add pepper and parmesan cheese.
7. Using a fork or whisk, beat the egg so that it is a smooth consistency.
8. Add the pancetta or guanciale to the egg mixture, and quickly pour it over the cooked spaghetti, making sure to stir frequently to make sure the sauce does not thicken.
9. Add extra cheese as desired and enjoy!
