While shopping for Cornmeal, cookingconspiracy discovered that the Quaker brand had some recipes on the back… I was not in a particular mood for cornbread but after seeing that I had to try it. It came out very nicely if you stick to the recipe. It was easy, simple, and quick. chances are you have all the ingredients at home.
The ingredients are flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking powder, egg, skim milk, and vegetable oil. This an easy side to make that is easy to make respectable. I will make this recipe again. I may even try the other recipes on the container.
