the krumiri recipe has existed since at least 1878, by Domenico Rossi, pastry chef from Casale Monferrato (Italy). The original recipe remains a secret covered by a patent, here you can find one of the versions that are found.
I am not a lover of biscuits but these are in my heart, I like them because they are not too sweet and they remind me as a child every time my father came back from a trip he stopped in the motorway restaurant to take these biscuits for me and my sisters.
Ingredients:
350 g flour*
140 g sugar
120 butter (room temperature)
3 eggs (3 yolks and 2 egg whites)
vanillin
