Finally the Pandas are back after a long break with a mouth-watering episode!!
In today’s episode, we are visiting the “Mugs and Shots” City Center 1 Outlet –
So fasten your seat belts and let’s roll!
This is the second outlet of the Mugs and Shots in Kolkata which has got a different vibe going on when compared to its predecessor which is at Sudder Street.
This place literally infuses quite a few interesting concepts together and as such is divided into certain segments.
The place offers 4 levels of versatile experiences such as Fine Dining, Cabana Dining, Jacuzzi as well as a Bar & Hookah area.
Along with that, they have a large plethora of versatile cuisines as well.
* The alcohol is yet to be set into action.*
The Special Menu
1. Volcano pizza:
This was a humongous pizza, overloaded with best in class toppings- with a puddle of extra cheesey cream sauce in the middle of the freakin pizza (from where the name volcano is obtained)
The crust though not being the thinnest but was well worked upon and made to a toasty perfection.
The pizza was topped with chicken strips, sausages and veggies like bell pepper, onions, broccoli, sweet corn, zucchini, etc., and also gooey cheese dripping all over.
Frankly speaking, at first it felt too over the board but then when we took the slice and dipped it in the sauce and took that heavenly portion of love “triangle” – mouth everything just made sense.
It was utter satisfaction.
“There’s no WE in pizza” now had a meaning, but for the size, you HAVE to share it, there’s no choice.
2. Orange grazed smoked salmon –
Where do I start with these Honey Orange Glazed Salmon fillets? I think I just said it all! I donโt know which was the best part: the juicy salmon with crisp and charred edges; or the flavour of thisย sauce.? Who wouldโve thought salmon and honey with orange could go together so incredibly. The salmon was served with a sode of mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables which were tossed in orange venegerate.
3. Sea food platter-
The platter consisted of –
Chilli fish,
Butter garlic prawn,
Fish tikka kebab,
Mongolian squids.
All the sea food tasted really fresh and perfect. Served with dips like thousand Island sauce, sweet chilli and green chutney . This platter can go nicely with the mocktails.
4. Charcoal Mojito –
Made with Activated charcoal dust this mojito is considered to have cleansing effects on body. A new concept to us this looked weirdly sexy but tasted like any other authentic Mojito with lime and mint freshness.
5. Freaky shake-
Big and bold indulgence thats what freakshake. It’s an oversized, pimped out milkshake. It’ basically milkshake, sauce, cream and then the adornments of whipped cream , kit-kats, and sugar sprinklers.
