Pizza Bucata is one of the most nostalgic Italian bakery pizzas, but almost nobody outside Italy knows it. Fluffy, crispy, full of tomato sauce and melted mozzarella trapped inside those little holes… pure childhood for so many Italians.
But translating the name literally creates a problem:
“Holed Pizza” sounds awful 😭
