There’s something about comfort food that just hits different… especially when it’s made the way mom makes it and I guess many can relate with this❤️
Today I’m sharing my super simple Aaloo Paratha recipe, straight from my mom’s kitchen to mine✨
It’s not fancy, it’s not complicated… but it’s full of love.
🥔 Soft dough, perfectly spicer potato filling (basic spices and fresh corriander & onion)
🔥 Roasted till golden with that irresistible aroma
☕ And of course… paired with a warm cup of doodh patti
Because let’s be honest — paratha without chai or doodh patti just feels incomplete 😌
Every bite takes me back home… to slow mornings, family breakfasts, and my mom standing by the stove making sure everything is just perfect.
✨ Bonus tips from my mom:
• Knead the dough with lukewarm water & add 1 tbsp oil — this keeps it soft
• Keep your dough balls small for better shaping
• Seal the edges really well after adding the potato filling so it doesn’t come out while rolling
• try it with green chattni or achaar – you will gonna love it (this one is recommended by me😉)
This isn’t just a recipe… it’s a feeling.
Save this for when you’re craving something comforting 💛
And tell me — do you also have a “mom recipe” you can’t replace?
