In today’s video, we try a place that claims to serve the best sandwiches (sangas) in the world 🇦🇺

As two Brits living on the Sunshine Coast, we had to check out Joe’s Famous Deli at Sunshine Plaza to see if it really lives up to the hype.

We ordered two of their most popular items the lobster roll and the fried chook hot sanga, and gave our honest review on both.

Are these really the best sandwiches in the world… or is it all hype?

Watch to find out our full verdict.

  1. Looked Delish in a very Delish Place – I love the Sunshine Coast – sooooo much to See and sooooo much to Do ! Cheers until the next Time !

  2. I'm currently watching past vlogs as I discovered you guys 12 months ago, so still catching up. Watching the the vids with Cody's mum and just saw you guys celebrating 6K subs. Well done on 19.1k subs!

  3. We don’t pronounce the “g”, but I think you pronounce all the “g”s because of your Manchester accent.

  4. You two need to find a top Korean restaurant that sells Korean Toasted sandwiches! Josh from JOLLY channel, took the Fulham High School lads to one in UK and they were all raving about it! Theirs also come in a box but the bread is hinged so nothing falls out of the bottom.

  5. Kody, I did some research for you.

“Based on search results, there are several Korean restaurants on the Sunshine Coast, but none explicitly advertise "Korean toasted sandwiches" (such as Isaac Toast-style egg drop sandwiches) on their main, publicly available profiles.
However, the following Korean dining spots are in the area and may have them as specials, or offer Korean-style café food:
Jango Korean BBQ Restaurant (Buddina/Kawana): A popular spot in Kawana Shoppingworld that offers authentic BBQ and traditional dishes.
HARU Korean Kitchen (Noosa): Highly rated for healthy and authentic Korean food.
Sokuri Japanese and Korean Restaurant (Caloundra): A newer joint offering a mix of Korean and Japanese dishes.
Tampopo Kitchen (Minyama): Known for Japanese/Asian, but often features varied Asian dishes.
It is highly recommended to check the specific menus of Jango or Haru via social media, as they may offer these items as lunch specials.”

You might be able to make a special request! Check around and see!

  6. Joe: “Lobster prices in Queensland restaurants vary significantly based on whether it is a specialty seafood spot or a high-end steakhouse, generally ranging from roughly $60–$100+ for a half-lobster and over $150–$300+ for a whole, high-end, or live lobster.
Casual/Specialty Seafood (e.g., Gold Coast): A whole lobster (Mornay or Thermidor) is often listed as "market price," but half-lobster meals can be found for roughly $34–$58, and full lobster meals for around $100–$150.
High-End/Steakhouse (e.g., Brisbane): Prime, chargrilled live lobster can cost around $180 for a half and $360 for a whole lobster.”

  7. both joe deli and you 2 uk have got sanga completely wrong
A sanga is aussie slang for Sausage sizzle a single slice of bread with a bbq sausage aka sausage sanga
A Burger is not called a sando or sandwich in Australia such as a burger from MacDonalds or hungry jack we call them burgers not sandwiches
A Roll is not called a sando or sandwich is Australia a roll is what you were eating and is also what Vietnamese use for banh mi
A hot dog is also not a sando or sandwich in Australia its a soft roll typically with red skinned boiled or grilled pork sausage
A Bun is small round shaped and also not called a sando or sandwich in Australia and not the same as a burger either usually in the supermarkets in a 6-12 pack just like Japanese Milk Buns
anyone who tells you otherwise didn't grow up in australia or is some new gen douchbag who doesn't know aussie history and slang unlike the americans who call all of the above a sandwich

  8. As eatventure try this out. If you have frozen meal or cold food, stop by a petrol station with a microwave. Heat a meal for cheap.

  9. Just curious Guys but what do You ( as Poms 🤭 ) classify as Hot Sauce? Growing up in Nth Qld as a child, We called Worcestershire Sauce "Hot Sauce" but since moving here on the Sunshine Coast, nearly everyone thinks Hot Sauce is a Chilli Sauce ..🤷‍♀💞 Interesting Vlog 💞

  10. Too much lettuce on those rolls for me.
As a card carrying hater of lettuce I would have to ask for them lettuce free.
Apart from that, they sound and look good.
