Red Sauce Pasta โ Simple, Cheesy & Irresistible
Ingredients
โข 1 tbsp oil
โข 1 tbsp butter
โข 5 medium tomatoes (chopped)
โข 3 medium onions (chopped)
โข 8โ10 garlic cloves
โข 1 tbsp red chilli powder
โข 1/2 tbsp chilli flakes
โข 1/2 tbsp mixed herbs
โข Salt to taste
โข 3 cheese slices
โข 2 cups boiled pasta
โข Extra grated cheese (for garnish)
โข Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Heat a pan and add oil and butter.
2. Add chopped tomatoes, then place chopped onions in the center, and add garlic. Sprinkle a little salt. Cover and cook on low flame until tomatoes become soft.
3. Open the lid, remove tomato skins, and mash everything well into a thick sauce.
4. Add red chilli powder, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, and salt. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add cheese slices and mix until melted and creamy.
6. Add boiled pasta and mix everything well.
7. Taste and adjust salt if needed, then cook for 1 minute only.
8. Garnish with extra grated cheese, fresh coriander, and chilli flakes.
9. Serve hot .
