After the car broke down again, we found ourselves back where we didn’t want to be — stranded in Mondragone, with no clear way forward.
What should have been a quick fix turns into a long, confusing day at a local mechanic.
A missing part.
Mixed signals.
And no real timeline.
One moment it feels like it might be sorted…
the next, we’re being told to come back tomorrow — or maybe the day after.
We start asking the question we didn’t want to face:
Do we wait… or risk driving a broken car further south?
Because every day here means less time in Sicily.
