    I can’t tell if this is AI or karma farming or if The Philippines just doesn’t know what pasta and meat sauce should be.

    Shouldn’t be just sweet. Nor should it be just sour. It should have the sweet acidity of the tomatoes and tomato paste, plus maybe some red wine vinegar and dry red wine which get cooked off in a slow simmer. It should also have the umami from the ground beef (or whichever meat you are using) and some beef broth. It should be a perfect balance of sweet, tart, and umami.
