A twist to the classic firehouse staple; Sausage Pepper & Onions (recipe๐Ÿ‘‡)

*Italian Sausage (2 lb)
*Hot Sausage (1 lb)
*Large Onion (1)
*Red & Green Pepper
*Provolone Cheese (couple slices a sandwich)
*Rolls from our local pizzeria (4)

Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
*Butter (3-4 tbs)
*Garlic (1-1.5 tbs)
*Fire & Smoke Italian Seasoning
*Pepper
*La Chona Mexican Crema (around a 1/4 cup)
*Grated Parmesan (1/3-1/2 cup)

-Slice your onion and peppers and add to a pan with a little oil.
-Add sausage to a separate pan. Cook around halfway to 3/4 through. Remove and slice into pieces. Toss back into pan to cook through.
-Make your sauce by melting butter. Add garlic cook for 30-60 seconds. Stir in Italian seasoning/pepper. Lower heat and add your crema and a couple mins later add in your Parmesan.
-Build your sandwich by adding a little sauce then sausage, peppers, onions, more sauce, topped with a couple slices of provolone.
-Toss in the oven for a couple mins to toast and melt the cheese. Serve with a side of salad.
