Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated parmesan
2 cups marinara or pasta sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
Fresh basil or parsley for topping
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add the drained spaghetti to the cream cheese mixture. Toss thoroughly until all the pasta is well coated.
Spread half of the spaghetti mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the marinara or pasta sauce evenly over the top.
Layer the remaining spaghetti on top, then pour the rest of the sauce over it.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden on top.
Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley, and serve warm.
