Ingredients:

Fresh basil โ€” about 60โ€“70 g
Parmesan cheese โ€” 50โ€“60 g, freshly grated
Nuts (pine nuts / cashews / walnuts) โ€” 30 g
Garlic โ€” 1โ€“2 cloves
Olive oil โ€” 80โ€“100 ml (adjust for texture)
Salt โ€” to taste
Black pepper โ€” to taste

Instructions:
Wash the basil thoroughly and remove the leaves from the stems.
Add basil, nuts, garlic, salt and pepper to a blender.
Drizzle in olive oil.
Blend until smooth, but donโ€™t overblend.
Transfer to a bowl.
Add freshly grated Parmesan and mix well.
Taste and adjust salt, pepper or olive oil if needed.
Youโ€™ll get about 200 g of fresh homemade pesto.
