I’m a Pakistani who immigrated to Canada a couple years ago. It breaks my heart to see what’s happening to our neighbours south of the border. Your videos make me realise that there are some down-to-Earth people who use their platforms to shed light on such pressing issues that others may be more prone to turn a blind eye to. This is the time for people to speak out through any platform voices can be heard. We’re watching real time as out rights are being threatened, or voices are being permanently cut off, we cannot sit around and let them win! Everyone should be speaking out, this is not the time to pretend it is not happening.

I’m literally taking a civics class rn for school and every day we share current events we hear in the news. When that story was shared EVERYONE in the class was silent and sorrow and even some ppl i didn’t expect were angry. For a large portion of the class we sat and talked about it and what ICE was doing and the teacher spoke to us void of her opinion (though you could she was sad abt it). I learned a lot abt what ICE does and how they’re “allowed” to do it and I think we need more teachers and time like that in schools.
PREACH! I sent out an article outlining the people that have been murdered by ICE to my group chat trying to remind them that ONCE AGAIN, nobody is safe but some kid said "were 13-14 year olds. We shouldnt be worrying about this." Like actually shut up? ICE is KIDNAPPING 13-14 YEAR OLD KIDS?!?! Like how tf can this guy pretend like everything is okay and dismiss other peoples suffering? So ignorant. I wish he took his petty ignorance somewhere else rather than belittling the oppression faced by these people. Depressing times. Oh and obviously he was white and a trump supporter. 🙄

The content creators are putting out there is changing because the world is changing. People are dying and this is no longer a matter of which side you're on, it's a matter of morals and whether or not you think people, human beings being murdered, seperated from everything they've tried to build including their families, and held captive is wrong. To ask that other people ignore something tragic just because you believe its a good thing is nothing short of disgusting and heartbreaking. No human being deserves any of this, and certainty shouldn't be tortured. I will forever respect and support the people doing what I am afraid to do, speak up and stand for what is right. This country would, and is, crumbling without the immigrants who sacrificed their lives for the better of what they believed in. Our entire country was built on the idea of giving liberty and justice to all, but now only some receive that. I'm a high school student from Arizona, and I fear what's happening to the people that once held up my community. Thank you for speaking out about this.
