I always hear patients talk about lying flat. Is it not better to be in a recline position to help educe swelling?

The only issue is beard displacement and having sideburns at your ear
This is very helpful. Ive watched these videos for over a yr now. And, while they are helpful, the key component I feel is missing are follow up videos and pictures 1 yr out. Or at least 6 months, after the swelling has completely gone away. Patients look completely different when there's swelling, actually better. I want to see what the results are when the patient is 100% healed & "deflated". We, the Patients, are spending A Lot Lot of $$$$$, time, and great effort/energy. Its difficult to "trust the process" when we really dont know in the end if its all worth it. If after the swelling subsidies & we then look 10% better, is that really worth it? Our hope, even being realistic, is to look YEARS younger, by at least a decade, from then forward. In all my research on YouTube and other sites the two comments I read that stuck with me are this, from a patient- "Face lifts are not for the faint of heart"…so true…and, from a surgeon- "You can expect to turn back time by 10 yrs. You'll always keep those ten yrs off, but of course you'll still continue to age". So, when youre 50, you'll look 40 & so on.
