Chicken Marsala Recipe:

3 chicken breasts, cut in half and then pounded thinner
Salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
1 pkg brown or white mushrooms, thinly sliced
3 tsp minced garlic
3/4 cup Marsala
1/2 cup heavy cream

Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
In a large frying pan, add butter and olive oil. Heat and brown chicken breasts on both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
Set aside.

In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and add mushrooms until cooked.
Add Marsala and cook until slightly reduced.
Add heavy cream and bring to a slow, low boil.
Add chicken breasts and simmer in the sauce until cooked (10 minutes or more). More wine and cream may be added if necessary.

Eat over a bed of rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles if you wish. Enjoy!

  1. I love chicken Marsala but never tried to make it because I thought something that good must be hard to make. She made it look pretty easy so I’m going to try and make it. Only problem is my kids don’t like mushrooms! I don’t know what’s wrong with them lol.

  2. I made this tonight and it was delicious. Next time i will make twice as much sauce because the chicken breasts I bought were huge and I didn’t know until I unpackaged them. I served it over spaghetti noodles.

  3. That pan is so nice and big. Looks great. My favorite chicken recipe. I would add a little less cream, and add a splash of sherry wine.

  4. I can smell this. It’s exactly the way I make it. Although, I don’t use garlic powder. I use serve on fettuccine.

  5. I used to watch outdoor boys when i wanted to mellow out, he stopped his channel. A long time i didnt have a channel i could watch and feel chill watching before bed. But then i found the spicy nonna, i like yall man! Yall good people man! Everybody has a favorite sorry to say lol, but i can watch nonno for hours talking man! Keep the videos coming man! 6. I live in Singapore, and I also have my parents and a son.
Anyway, I feel such warmth from Nonna’s cooking, activities, and stories.
I wish Nonna and your family good health.

  7. Made this tonight and the family LOVED it!! Thank you!! Please offer the cookbook again….some of the proceeds could go towards Vanessa’s non-profit dog rescue. ❤

  9. Idk if u guys know how BLESSED u are with Nonna and Nonno? They are both so gifted in their own ways! 🙏🏻😇

  10. I don’t care what she says. Get her a BOOS SOLID maple Butcher block on casters so it can be moved round the kitchen.
    2’x 2’ I bought mine 45 yrs ago!

  11. Dang ! Your videos are making me so HUNGRY! I adore Rapini but we aren’t getting any from California for a couple years now. I can’t find any in our supermarkets! I used to find it all the time in a few of the good markets in Oregon that had a good vegetable section but now you just can’t find it. Plenty of red Chioggia Radicchio and Treviso which I also, love but no Rapini.

  12. I absolutely love these videos. Your grandparents are so cute and hilarious. Such great knowledge handed down also. Thank you for sharing!

  13. Julian, do your grandparents have any other memories of childhood in Italy or WWII they'd be willing to share? I find them so fascinating.

  14. I LOVE chicken or veal marsala. Its probably my favorite. I have never had it with cream in it. I have to make it myself because no restaurant near me makes one worth eating. When I visit my daughter in NJ there is a restaurant that makes it so good I want to lick my plate. Thanks for sharing.😊

  15. Love watching Nonna but I wish the daughter would refrain from correcting Nonna and taking over..sorry- have to turn the channel when I see this.

  16. I really like your video’s and watching you all cook. I wish you’d get yourselves some better knives or get what you have sharpened. You seem to struggle so much with the knives because I don’t think they are sharp enough. Hope this isn’t meant as criticism, just looking out for you!! Stay healthy!

  17. New subbie here! Hello from Seattle Washington 😊 Your channel brings me joy. Thank you❤ My family came from the "old country" although not of Italian decent, I think a lot of us subbies can relate to these types of moments..❤ They came to Canada. Saskatchewan to farm wheat. Going to Oma and Opas farm every summer was the best! I am now 55 yrs old, but I will never forget and cherish the memories. Ps. I miss living in Canada as well❤ Vancouver, Victoria, Regina, Saskatoon. Sorry for the novel!😊 Happy New Year to my favorite familia on YouTube ❤
