Remove the pasta from the pot 4-5 minutes before they are ready and finish cooking them together in the pan with the olive oil. Stir and toss constantly. Gradually add more water, continuing to stir and toss until the spaghetti are al dente. This will create an even creamier sauce.
What kind of "good" olive oil do you recommend? The last time I've tried making this, it was bland and tasted like i was eating plain noodles and hot water.
I hope you removed the seeds from that lemon before squeezing it in the pan. Nothing worse than a surprising lemon crunch in your meal. Otherwise lovely!
People think you need TONNES N TONNES of salt in everything you cook by watching chefs on TV. But you don't. The salt only helps the food cook faster, not to improve the taste. So in reality, you don't need salt at all when you are are cooking as your food will eventually cook but it will take a little bit longer like a minute or two.
Noooo…. Troppo di tutto tesoro!!! Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino….olio extravergine di oliva!!!!!! No prezzemolo! No limone! No Parmigiano! Saluti dall'Italia….
