โข Savoiardi (ladyfingers) โ 350 g
โข Mascarpone cheese โ 500 g
โข Heavy cream (33โ35%) โ 300 ml
โข Powdered sugar โ 120 g (or to taste)
โข Vanilla extract โ 1 tsp
โข Strong coffee (espresso or instant), cooled โ 300 ml
โข Cocoa powder โ for dusting

๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
1. Make the cream
Whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture using a spatula.
2. Prepare the coffee
Brew strong coffee and let it cool completely.
(Optional: add 1โ2 tbsp coffee liqueur.)
3. Assemble the cake
Line a 18 cm / 7-inch round pan with acetate or parchment paper.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee (1โ2 seconds).
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the pan.
Spread a layer of cream on top.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
Finish with a layer of cream on top.
4. Chill
Refrigerate for 6โ8 hours, preferably overnight.
5. Serve
Dust the top generously with cocoa powder before serving.
