Ingredients in Easy Zuppa Toscana Recipe
โข 1 lb Italian turkey sausage, casings removed
โข 1 tbsp olive oil
โข 1 yellow onion, chopped
โข 2 tsp garlic, minced
โข ยผ tsp salt
โข ยผ tsp red pepper flakes
โข ยผ tsp black pepper
โข 4 cups low-sodium chicken bone broth
โข 2 cups water
โข 1 lb baby potatoes, quartered
โข 3 cups chopped kale
โข 1 cup fat-free half and half (or lite coconut milk for dairy-free)
โข 2 slices bacon, cooked + chopped
โข ยผ cup grated parmesan
How to Make Easy Zuppa Toscana Soup
1. Brown the turkey sausage in a large pot, then set aside.
2. Sautรฉ onion and garlic with olive oil and seasonings for 3 minutes.
3. Add potatoes, bone broth, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10โ12 minutes.
4. Microwave your bacon while potatoes cook.
