In the pan, after adding oil, if you put chopped onion (&/or garlic) first, let it cook alone for a few minutes and then add the rest of stuff then you'll get more flavour in your dish.. this is because they infuse the oil with their flavours and then the oil spreads it to everything that cooks in it.. this is an ancient Indian/desi cooking trick 🫶🏽
