  1. A lot of times I have trouble getting a nice slice on a pot roast; sometimes I will cook it, fridge it overnight, then slice it the next day and reheat it in the gravy, out of desperation…suggestions?

  5. If there's anything I can agree with Andrew on: Walnuts are awful, and parsnips rule.

    Edit: For those hand pies, if you've never tried it, try a tortilla press with spacers….may not be your thing, but it works damn nice and easy to toss in the empanada form thingy. I've even done them savory (crab and cream cheese).
