In this edition of “Italian Wine Travel with Stevie Kim” Stevie Kim is back in Almaty in Kazakhstan with His Excellency Antonello de Riu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Kazakhstan, Antonello de Riu.
The interview coincides with the Vinitaly Kazakhstan Roadshow 2025, held at the prestigious Rixos Almaty Hotel on 7 July 2025.
Organized by Veronafiere under the patronage of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and in collaboration with the Kazakhstan Sommelier Association, the Vinitaly Kazakhstan Roadshow offered local professionals – including importers, distributors, sommeliers, retailers, and journalists – the opportunity to build meaningful business connections and identify new growth opportunities.
The event was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Italy to Kazakhstan, Antonello De Riu, Veronafiere Exhibition Manager Area Wine & Food, Gianni Bruno, Director of ITA Almaty, Martino Castellani, and Vinitaly Managing Partner, Stevie Kim.
