Where can you find the BEST Italian-American food in Brooklyn? Danielle Caminiti—AKA @HaveUCoveredIntheKitchen—recommends Bamonte’s, located at 32 Withers Street in Williamsburg. Bamonte’s has been owned and operated by the same family for a staggering 125 years, making it the oldest Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. Bamonte’s does all of the red sauce classics exceptionally well, but their claim to fame is having purportedly invented the dish chicken parmigiana.

If you could have dinner at Bamonte's with any Sopranos character, who would it be?
Familia is spelled wrong famiglia” how Italian can it be
Love her great show.🇮🇹🙌🏼🇺🇸
How you doin
She sounds like the side chic on sopranos.
1:54 “a red sauce joint always has to have an element of red sauce”….really!? You don’t say! Teasing, love the vid and the host.
I had an uncle who lived in that neighborhood in the 1930's through the 1970's. He used to rave about this place. So, I decided to go there in 2024 for a dinner. Sorry to say I was disappointed with the meal. I ordered my favorite White Clam sauce over linguine, and it just did not hit the high note I was expecting! To be honest with everyone on here, most if not all of these places don't have Italian cooks in their kitchens anymore. Only the owners may be of Italian decent!
Thank you for bringing back my memories of the old neighborhood
Being so plump, they are likely Maine blue mussels.
Great review!
Do they make the cheesecake with dry ricotta?
Danielle C , good looking italian lady , did u ever audition or get an under 5 or more on any of the Law and Orders ? 😅😅. I could see u as a cop , killer , troubled wife , witness 2 a killing etc on the shows . 😅😅😊

Bravo Darling Danielle,
You Gave Bamonte's Good Honor… I was beginning to wonder — Until You took a couple of bites and Pushed the Plate Away, because I know that You Couldn't have been Eating…. " ALL 'DAT FOOD"😥 Wonderful Expose' Hon🛐🌹🦋💐💚💯🤺🏁🇺🇲😉
Wow, homegirl doesn't chew. She just swallows that big fork of pasta😅
Wow my mouth is watering! I wish I was there! Chicken Parm my favorite. Great food and a pretty lady describing everything!
I lived nearby and have passed it thousands of times, but I never went in.
Maybe it had to do with the rumor (or not) that it was a Mafia hangout joint back in the day.
Or that locals told me it was an expensive restaurant. But nonetheless, next time I visit Brooklyn again, I'm definitely gonna try it.
I do hope they have Tutte' di Mare'.
Work of art,…Abruzzo,Sicilliano
Great Video
Wonderful clip
Danielle is so hot, and anything parmigiana is Medigan, not "Italian"
MSGR. JAMIE!!!
The problem I have going pout to eat is, the food. Is the seafood farm raised or from india? Is the pasta made from gold medal flour? Is the steak not from china? Is the chicken not from china? etc…
