Yes I have made a hole in pizza in the oven, the question I have is how do I clean my stone now that I have charred cheese and sauce on it from my torn pizza
Yes I've torn a hole in a pizza once or twice. Because my oven doesn't get hot enough, even on the highest setting of 250 degrees C. Plus my topping was too wet bc of fresh mozzarella. And the bottom was too thin because of bad stretching technique I guess.. 😅 So the water from the mozzarella leaked through the bottom, made the dough stick to the stone, kept the dough from reaching high temperature (boiling water doesn't go higher than 100 degrees of course).. And so when I tried to take it out of the oven, it was stuck to the stone and I ripped it open.. That was my worst pizza ever I think.. 😅 Solution: practice better technique to leave the bottom slightly thicker, and prebake the dough for 5 to 10 minutes with only a bit of tomato sauce so the evaporating moisture doesn't cool the bottom too much or even make the dough soggy.. When the bottom is properly prebaked, I add other toppings such as mozzarella, bell pepper, salami, olives, etc.. My pizzas are much better now, even though my oven doesn't get hotter than about 180 degrees C..

180 degrees and showing how to turn in an already cooked pizza is easy. Show howto with a half cooked puzza, that would be fair to the lady.
Welcome back Chef Vito ❤🙏
