This is my favorite, from scratch spaghetti recipe and it’s baby girl’s favorite food I make! Bubba loves it too, y’all. I’m including it here in the description.

Ingredients:
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
1 lb. lean ground beef/chuck
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 medium yellow onion (diced)
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (reduce to 1/4 tsp if preferred)
1 tsp oregano
2 Tbsp tomato paste
2 lg. cans San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes
Sprig of fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil
3 Tbsp unsalted butter
Salt & Pepper to taste

Crumble meat in skillet until fully browned. Drain and set aside. Sweat garlic over medium heat. Add pepper flakes and oregano. Saute for 1 minute. Add onion and saute until onion becomes translucent. Add tomato paste and yellow pepper and stir. Add both cans tomatoes. Crush tomatoes and add meat and basil partially covered for at least one hour on low heat. Remove basil and add butter, salt & pepper.
