Many of you met Eva’s parents in a recent video, and some of you gave suggestions about what to show them while they’re visiting us in America. We listened, and decided to take them on an epic American road trip to see some of the best (and a little bit of the worst) that this beautiful country has to offer!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas… unless you film the whole thing and publish it on a YouTube channel.

If you enjoy this video, please give it a like and subscribe to the channel!

  1. What a great visit and video! I hope to host some of my Italian friends in the USA one day. 🤞🏼
The look of awe and wonder in Eva's family's eyes is likely to be the same look they see in mine when in Italy.
This is a beautiful depiction of the priceless value and unadulterated joy of intercultural travel.

  2. Please tell Moms Rosa Antelope Canyon was on my bucket list also. It does not disappoint! We did both upper and lower. Hope to go back some day!

  3. Although i really enjoyed your video, I really liked hearing you sing, "I'll Fly Away." Strange, how when someone is going through something and they are trying to keep their mind off it, something comes up that is a reminder that it's ok, everything will be ok. By the way, you do have a nice voice and you are really good at playing the banjo.
I am glad that your trip and plans went well and everyone enjoyed themselves.

  4. Fellow Californian here who also happens to live in Arizona (Phoenix). Things I check for at all times while inside or outside in this Sonoran desert that only Arizonans and Sonorans will understand: scorpions, snakes, spiders, gila monsters, javalines (wild boar), and coyotes. So far, I've been lucky to have only found scorpions in my house and coyotes in my backyard community while walking at night. Not sure exactly how to explain these animals to Italiani other than…if you see any of these things, do not touch, and run back inside. If they are inside, then run outside and get help.

  5. What a nice way to make the entire trip, including airfare for ciu sins, likely tax deductible since it supports y4oyr YT BUSINESS. This mini series has been a lot of fun. You should take them to the HILL in St, Louis.n it is known as the largest Little Italy and there is tremendous pride in the neighborhood.

  6. Oh, I hope they get to see a show in Vegas. When I took my mom, it was out of this world.

  7. Omg such a great video. It does remind me of me taking my dad to different places. Exactly the same, air con off and hesitant to try certain new things. Oh I should ad, he was born in Arena Calabria. Haha

  8. The only thing better than a ‘s’more: a s’more made with Perugina chocolate.

  9. Reminds me of road trip to the South Dakota Black Hills with my sister-in-law and her Italian husband. The Italian accented “Are we there yet?” became fused to my brain.

  10. I have always enjoyed your videos until ! mexican resturant scene….. remind them of what they ate during WW2. USA is inclusive of many people and their cultures and food. Your friends attitude toward food calling it disgusting is DISGUSTING !!!

  11. I got to visit all of those beautiful places when I was a teenager with my parents and brothers. They were all gorgeous, with the exception of Vegas. I have to agree with Ava’s parents that it’s not for me. Nice banjo and singing, by the way 😎

  12. Thank you. My wife and I saw all those places ( except Antelope C. ) in 1968 as part of 22 state, 55 day, 11,489 mile car trip starting from Buffalo N.Y. Back then the parks were not crowded. You had to endure the cold but I think it was a good tradeoff ( the best way to experience those places is in the most serene, solitary conditions as possible ).

  13. Wonderful video, thanks for sharing. Happy New year and all the best to you and your family. Be careful, that air conditioning will make you sick!

  14. When I was backpacking, it seemed that most Europeans only knew NY and LA. I found myself explaining that there is soooo much more than those cities, and stated that I lived in Colorado (around the height of South Park popularity). Some would instantly recognize SP and then I had to explain that it didn't really exist as what they saw on TV, but that we did still have the mountains. 😂😉

  15. What a great tour for your parents and cousin and girlfriend… Grand Canyon, Antelope, Horseshoe, Monument Valley. Gorgeous. On the other hand, Vegas,…. no, thank you. And banjo and singing sounded great with Grand Canyon.
