It is easy to get lost in this region’s fascinating history with historic towns of Bolsena, Montefiascone, Todi, and Spoleto in Umbria within easy reach. So is medieval Montepulciano in southern Tuscany, and situated within two hours’ drive are the ancient cities of Assisi, Siena, Florence and Rome.
There are good train services to Rome and Florence from Orvieto, with free parking at the rear of the station. We do recommend a cook for your arrival as there is no better way than to start your vacation with the house fully stocked and a dinner awaiting you.
