I was watching Equalizer 3 and it takes place in Altomonte, Italy. The lady wants to show him the real food of Altomonte. As they're walking around I caught a screenshot of how this man is cooking the meat. I haven't been able to find any info on the method. When I was in Iraq some of the men prepared lamb like this. It was hung up, heated from the side. I'm guessing as it spins they shave off thin slices. Does anybody know what this cooking style or method is called? I've wondered for years. Ty in advance!!

    It’s just a vertical rotisserie.

It’s a vertical rotisserie used for gyro, schwarma, doner, etc.

I’ve seen some taco stands in LA call it al pastor. Delicious marinated meat that spins next to a heat source, usually a vertical flame, with a few pieces of piña that they can whip off the top and catch in your taco.
