  6. I tried this recipe and it was very fudgy, sweet, and chocolatey. I adjusted the recipe to my liking.
    1. I cut down the chocolate to ~160 grams. I didn’t want the brownie to be too sweet and I was also going to add in additional chocolate chunks/chips later on.
    2. I cut down the butter to ~100 grams.
    3. I added an extra egg yolk. This makes it fudgier and less thick (my batter came out a lot thicker than the video shown)
    4. I doubled the vanilla. I used pure vanilla extract from Costco which isn’t as strong as the one used in the video.
    5. I used a spatula and lightly folded in the chocolate butter batter and flour to avoid over mixing.
    6. I added 1/2 tsp of espresso powder. It enhances the flavor a little. Don’t bother buying it if you don’t have it yet. This is for people who already have it in their household.
    7. I cut the sugar. I added ~75 grams of white sugar (1/3 cups) and kept the 100 grams (1/2 cups) of brown sugar. Even with the additional reductions, it was still very sweet so don’t worry about reducing too much.
    8. I added chopped chocolate and chocolate chips into the batter to make it gooey.
    9. I added ~15 grams (1 tbsp) more of cocoa powder for a more chocolatey flavor.
    10. I baked the batter for ~50 minutes at 355 Fahrenheit. The batter came out really undercooked after 30 minutes so I baked it for 45 minutes. It was still wet so I baked it a little more. The time depends on the type of oven you have so check every 5-10 minutes if the brownie is ready.

  7. My favorite brownie receipt, prepared many times. But his time I would need to make it to be gluten free, would it work just changing the all purpose flour to rice flour? And of course choose having all the other ingredients gluten free as well.
