Batch cooking recipes: Sausage ragu
Batch cooking is great for saving you time and money, and this sausage ragu recipe is a delicious option!
To make 18 portions we used:
1 tbsp olive oil
2 large carrots, grated
3 sticks celery, diced
3 red onions, diced
6 garlic cloves, minced
18 pork sausages (roughly 1.2kg of sausage meat)
2 tbsp tomato puree
6 x 400g cans chopped tomatoes
Glug of red wine
½ tsp chilli flakes
3 tbsp mixed herbs
1 vegetable stock cube
1 parmesan rind
2 tsp marmite
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
