  1. New subscriber! ❤ I loved this video. I hope the rest is like this. For some reason it was very…calming? Comforting? I can't seem to find the word…soothing? Anyway this meal looks bomb!

    P.S. I love your nails 😊

  2. You must be kidding me. My parents were both Italian. My mother would cook the entire chicken not split open as this was and place a quarter or two quarters of lemon, some garlic cloves maybe onion wedge and maybe a little bit of butter within the cavity of the chicken not under the skin. And I think she might have put a little bit of olive oil on the exterior skin I can't remember about the exterior but I know she would stuff things in the cavity and then roast in the oven. I believe I have seen cooking shows where they separate the skin and place a little bit of something under it maybe a little bit of butter but nothing to this degree that's too much butter. I imagine it tasted great but too much work as far as I'm concerned

  3. Umm… the finger placement when the cucumber was sliced to make the salad looks dangerous. Says a lot.

  4. I don't think this is Italian at all. The best cooking is not complicated. Way too much butter, way too many steps, and why wouldn't you just mix the olive oil, vinegar, and mustard?. I wish you the best anyways

  5. So many things wrong with this… The block of minced garlic butter, and where it was placed, along with lemons. The struggle with flipping the peeled but unsliced potatoes. The horrible cut of the cucumber. And the finger placement when slicing. And ffs, ketchup, mustard, and soy sauce???

  6. 10min on each side? 🤔 Idk if a whole chicken (split open) would fully cook evenly so quick but 🤷 shoot im just a Chef, what do i know.

  7. So much criticism ,if you don't like the recipe dont make it. Dont think you know everything about this persons nationality

  8. First of all butter cost way to much to be putting an entire block in a chickens azz to just melt off. Than you had the audacity to put some more butter in the pan just in case your cholesterol level isn’t quite high enough. Thirdly I’m just gonna say rolling pen really? And lastly I’m not Italian and don’t know their culture but why you lying on Italian folks with this 32 step recipe it took so long I can’t even remember what you was making😂 Them potatoes looked good though.

  9. I could only buy this prepared this way 😳 I didn’t do that much work to my turkey for thanksgiving way to much for me I’m
    Sry looks delicious though .

  10. Shit I must be cooking wrong. Not only was my mother from Sicily but I've also been a chef for 30yrs. Ive never seen an Italian cook chicken like this. No way with the soy sauce and ketchup. So wrong

  11. To all those who say an Italian wouldn't 'cook like this' – well I'm English, living in Spain, and cook Indian, Chinese, Thai, Middle Eastern, etc etc – so what do you think about that? 😁

  12. The title never said it was an Italian recipe…it said it was the way an Italian family taught that person how they cooked their chicken……

  13. Look like the chicken will be delicious!!!! My mother in law put Apples in the cavity of the "turkey".. I have done that for years now😊

  14. this is definitely not Italian this is more like Asía style those that know knows exactly what I'm talking about..😬

  15. Yeah ok. Lolololol. My Italian father in law that orders out twice a year woukd order out if you cooked this for him and he saw you stuff the butter block and half lemons in it

  16. Whole butter n lots of garlic??? Italian cuisine??? I can't believe this, Italian hate the smell of garlic n whole butter out of their diet meal 🤔🤦

  17. This is terrible. Spatchcock the wrong way. No Italian cooked this chicken in their life. Offended actually.

  18. The purpose of this video is not to show you how to roast a chicken, but rather to provoke people who know how to cook.

  19. I've already had heart attacks. I'm not eating whatever that salt and butter thing you made is.

  20. I think this is a great video to record, art and beauty in the preparation of food food but I don’t see this is being something that a normal person would choose to do and I don’t think the flavor of the final product really justifies it

It’s just a nice video showing techniques as a form of relaxation

As far as an Italian style recipe, this is nonsense
