Never made this before but now I finally got a hold of all the real ingredients. I had a ‘carbonara’ recently at an acquaintance’s house and it was really bitter, so I decided I really want to try my hand at a real carbonara and see how had it really might be. I followed this recipe;

    Looks really good op. Bitterness can come from too much pepper, burnt pepper, etc. I still enjoy it bitter though.
