The AIP diet that I try to follow is the Autoimmune Protocol diet. It heals the gut lining to prevent leaky gut and puts autoimmune issues in remission. Things like Rheumatoid arthritis, Multiple sclerosis, lupus and more of over 100 autoimmune issues.
I’d love to transfer to the keto diet because it opens up soooo many more foods I could eat, but still it would be something I should only do every once in a while. But I NEVER eat gluten because going gluten free got me out of a wheelchair and my neck brace that I had to wear because my neck muscles weren’t strong enough to hold my own head up! Thankfully I discovered that my food is my medicine and I am no longer taking medicine for my conditions, and I have several… but I’ve changed my life by changing my diet And ten years later, I would never go back to where I started!
