Antinori’s Tignanello (discontinued lifestyle blog: The Tig) is an Italian wine produced in Tuscany. Specifically, it’s a red wine blend of predominantly Sangiovese, with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc mixed in.
Known as one of Itlay’s “Super Tuscans,” a distinction technically referring to its grape origins (some grapes are grown outside the perimeters of the Tuscan sun), Tignanello was released in 1971, and quickly became one of Italy’s most sought-after wines. As is only fitting for a wine beloved by Meghan Markle, its category is considered one of Italian wine’s finest.
