The pasta with the pesto looks very good. I would suggest eating the burrata separately because it has nothing to do with the rest of the dish.

Straciatella is not entirely, but virtually the same thing as burrata di bufala (emphasis on “bufala”, i.e. buffalo). For all intents and purposes just use a fork to shred the burrata ball in a bowl, the result is stracciatella.

In sicilly I ate a pizza with mortadella, burrata, pistacchio pesto and cream as toppings
