Dude……don’t let the carbonara police dissuade you. You made some very tasty looking pasta that is probably very similar to strict carbonara. Remember that carbonara was created by coal miners with things they had on hand and that’s what you did.

Carbonara police. 🚨 Looks good but I wouldn’t call it carbonara.
Edit to title: Apologies! First go at Italian food, and I thought “carbonara” was a universal term. I made “Spaghetti Carbonara”.
