Im sure it tasted great. Don’t get upset you don’t have a super expensive camera and or plating material. Remember it’s peasant food. That looks how it should!!

This looks wonderful. Your garlic is not overdone and I like the chili flakes to add some zing. I grew up on this dish with a broke, Sicilian father in the US. He called it “speshisale spaghett”. (Special spaghetti) As I grew up, this recipe grew with me. I’d add anchovies or ripe grape tomatoes and some chopped basil. My son loves it. We’re not all Michelin rated chefs, but we can make wonderful food for $3. Looks delicious, good job!

Only sad part in that plate? Seems a small portion…
For the rest well done, and now you make me want an Aglio e Olio…

Every hwy sucks, and u can’t swim in the lake. I hate this city. Having said that, they’re all kinda the same, and I’ve realized I just hate ppl. Get a dog and move to the country instead

It looks ok. But people, please do not drain your pasta in sink with colander. Take al dente pasta with tongs from pasta water and place directly into pan with oil & garlic, pepper flakes. ADD a bit of the the hot pasta water. (Gold). Toss, toss, toss. Add a bit of fresh black pepper. Drizzle of EVOO, Basil or parsley at end. That pasta water is the key to a great sauce. Enjoy.
