Diamond Thudufushi restaurant the Maakanaa features is my second review of Plan Hotels Thudafushi Beach and Spa in the South Ari atoll. The Maakanaa restaurant, is shown here in my film. Thudufushi also has the Aqua restaurant, which is for the overwater villas guests, but you may also visit the Aqua restaurant at a suplement of 35$ per person for beach bungalow guests. We found the Maakanaa food offerings fantastic with beautifull fragrant currys in fish, meat or vegetable, along with Italian pasta dishes plus pizza. Maldivian authentic cuisine, beautifull salads, fresh fish and a barbecue,every night. To top it all delicious deserts. Thudufushi offers a Maldivian night on a Thursday for everyone, set in the centre of the island under lit up palm trees weather permitting. There are two other options a Teppanyaki restaurant and private dining under the stars on the beach at extra cost.
