We enjoy a Mauritian-inspired Italian feast at Pomodoro Italian Restaurant at La Croisette. It had to start with a passion fruit mojito cocktail expertly prepared. We then got access to the kitchen, check out my awesome hair net. They made a Terre Rouge pizza, named after the village and a Marlin tagliatelle. What a great meal, I always love a fusion dish and the combination between Italian and Mauritian is one of the best.
Another cocktail, this time a Christmas Cosmopolitan, and we were on to desserts. Tiramisu and pistachio creme brulee is an interesting combination, but really tasty and the tiramisu was huge. It was a great feast but the setting took it to the next level. Great design, a huge mural, and your choice of where to sit. An Italian hillside trattoria, a street cafe, or a side alley restaurant.
