This lentil recipe Italian-style is healthy and very easy to make. You only need six ingredients.
This is a vegan one-pot recipe that is perfect for dinner and lunch. But I prefer to make it for dinner.
You can use brown lentils but also green lentils or whatever type of lentils you like most. Just know that the cooking time will be different depending on which type of lentils you use.

This lentil recipe is like my Nonna from Salento (South Italy) used to make it, so you can be sure it is delicious.

1. Soak lentils overnight or for six h
2. Drain water, rinse lentils briefly with water
3. Chop garlic, heat olive oil in your pressure cooker,
steam garlic in olive oil for a short time
4. Add lentils and steam briefly
5. Add 700ml of water and cook on low heat for 15 minutes
6. Drain steam, add sea salt and cayenne pepper to your taste
7. Add some water if necessary and cook for 5 minutes on medium level
