RECIPE

Ingredients:

1 banana
1 apple
2 kiwi
8 strawberries
1/2 lemon, squeezed
4-1/4 cups of milk
2 packages (200 g) creme caramel dessert mix (with caramel sauce)
6 Tea biscuits
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Directions:

Slice banana, apple, kiwis, and strawberries. Pour lemon juice on top and set aside.

In a medium sauce pan, add milk and creme caramel mix. Dissolve and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir continuously for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 30 minutes.

In a Bundt pan, layer fruit. Break tea biscuits into fourths and add on top of fruit. Pour cooled creme caramel mixture over biscuits and fruit. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until set.

In a small skillet, toast sliced almonds until light golden brown.

To serve, remove dessert from refrigerator and put a flat plate on top of Bundt pan, and turn upside down. Drizzle caramel on top and add toasted almonds. Cut and serve.
