When i’t gets to that time of the year where Christmas is fast approaching, my family and many others here in Basilicata and Puglia, start cooking ‘le pettole’! These christmassy fried dough dumplings are one of the things we look forward to eating most here during the festive season and with a little bit of patience and practice, they can be a simple yet incredibly delicious treat!
