Chicken Spaghetti by Food Prescription
Step 1: Pepper Sauce
Ingredients:
โข Olive oil – 1 tsp
โข 1 Red bell pepper
โข 1 green capsicum
โข 1 Onion
โข 1 Tomato
โข 5-6 garlic cloves
โข Salt to taste
Method:
โข In a pan, add oil and then add all the veggies
โข Roast them for 10 min on medium to high heat.
โข Then turn off the flame , cool down the veggies a bit and then grind them.
โข And our pepper sauce is ready.
Step 2: Chicken marination
Ingredients:
โข Olive oil – 1 tbsp
โข Chicken breast
โข Red chilli powder
โข Salt and black pepper
Method:
โข Pound the chicken pieces and add all the spices along with oil.
โข Massage the chicken nicely.
โข Grill it on the pan for around 20 min (time may vary depending on the size and thickness of chicken)
โข Cut the chicken into pieces.
Step 3: Making
Ingredients:
โข Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
โข Salt – 1 tsp
โข Pepper – 1 tsp
โข Pasta water -1/4th cup
Method:
โข In a pan, add 1 tsp olive oil, add the pepper sauce and add the seasonings (salt,pepper,chilliflakes) and pasta water, cook them on medium heat for 5 min.
โข Now, add in the shredded chicken and simmer the sauce again for 5-7 minutes.
โข Add the boiled spaghetti and combine the sauce very well.
โข And our delicious chicken spaghetti is ready to be served!
